But by pre-planning before a disaster occurs and then knowing the correct contractors for you and your clients, the repair and restoration process can be expedited.

United Services offers CE classes FREE of Charge to our Insurance Partners. Each class is approved by the State of Missouri for CEC hours in the area of Property and Casualty.

Water Mitigation Basics The Crucial First 24 Hours (2 CE Hours): United Services takes an in-depth look at the first response process to a water loss and what can and should be done during that time to mitigate current and prevent future damage to both structure and contents.

Before the Restoration Teams Arrive: What Your Clients can do to Minimize Loss (2 CE Hours): While disaster restoration teams are quick to the scene and to begin the process of returning a home or office to pre-loss condition, there are steps clients can take to mitigate the damage to their structure and contents. United Services' presents this practical look at what to do (and not to do) to minimize the loss.

P.O.I. - Utilizing Pack Out Inventory Technology in Restoration (2 CE Hours): In the process of packing out a client's belongings, restoration professionals can now utilize P.O.I. technology to more quickly and accurately process the contents, and therefore can lower the amount of a restoration claim and shorten the days a claim is open. United Services will offer their insight into this new technology and it's use in the restoration industry.

Restorers vs. Rebuilders: The Challenges Facing Rebuilding after a Loss (2 CE Hours): Why should your clients choose a restoration company versus a remodeling company or a handyman after a fire or water loss? Jim Rable will show you the unique tools and knowledge required to successfully complete a full service fire or water project and how those tools and knowledge will save money down the road versus causing greater damage.
